After months of planning everything started to come together on the friday before Saturdays second teamdred slider jam event,Tom and Dicky our very own team DJs helped rebecca and i set up the event site at pentney lakes which included the DJ table covered in camouflage netting and some serious gazebo cover, also the rum shack, our own small portable cafe/bar! When we had finished our setting up Dicky and i decided to go off roading on our bikes as he had brought his 250 trials bike along with him and i have a 600 yamaha enduro! We had great fun and got totally mudded up to the eyeballs! When we got back we lit a big camp fire, started the barbq and waited for the rest of our team members to arrive Ryan Blake and Steve Dyer, then we all just kicked back with a couple of beers watching the fire. Saturday morning was a 6am start for me, very harsh but it had to be done ready for our 9am kick off with practice and coaching sessions, myself steve and ryan all helped and gave advice to all the twenty or so entrees from all over the country, boarders came from the cotswolds, reading, welton and leeds to compete.

Over 100 spectators descended on Townhill loch in Dunfermline for the very first Loch Stock wakeboard competition. The sun was shining and the water flat , and with over 30 competitors (the most so far in a Scottish Wakeboard event) there was an electric atmosphere on the shore.
Loch Stock 2008 began with the Novice category – those with less than 1 years riding experience. The Juniors (Under 14yrs old), Open Ladies and Open Mens followed afterwards. Each rider was given 2 lengths of the Loch to complete as many tricks as possible, followed by a single 'Wildcard' trick which was to be attempted in front of the jetty – in full view of the crowd! This Wildcard trick is a mini-competition in it's own right, and the riders were not required to land their trick for their score to count.

The Ten Feet High series has had a fantastic season this year, with a higher standard of riding than ever before in all categories and more and more sponsors, riders and spectators getting involved. Yesterday's final event of the season was no exception and we were also blessed with sunshine (something the UK has been seriously lacking in this year!). For the riders, this final event was the last chance to improve on their season scores in order to place in the series overalls and take away cash prizes!...no pressure!...
