'Find A Spot' Winner

Over winter we ran a contest online to find the best riding spot in the UK, and asked you guys to send in your favourite places to get your slaysh on. We there were some predictable entries like cable parks, Windermere, Loch Lomond and the south coast, and then a few places that we had never heard of before, so our roving investigator Tim Woodhead happily went around to scope them out.

After deliberating which was our favourite we agreed on the winner, a spot entered by Tim Foster and Ollie Akid. Unfortunately for you guys, they want to keep this spot a secret so we can't tell you the name or location, but I can tell you it's one of the best places I've ever been to ride. Last week we went to the lake to get some shots for the upcoming feature in Alliance, and took along Sam Carne, Charlotte Bryant, Matty C, Scotty Broome, Nicola Butler and Jorge Gill. We were also joined by Mike Hardicker of MasterCraft UK who bought along their sweet new wrapped X2 for us to play with.

There will be a full article in Alliance coming out at the end of August, but for now let's just say that this place is awesome. A deep gravel pit with tall trees all the way around blocking the wind from every direction. We had a great afternoon riding at Lake-X and thanks to Ollie and Tim for letting us in on the secret.
