The latest issue of Alliance hits the shelves today, and it is crammed full of home-grown content. We start out with an interview with one of the most under-rated and unknown riders to come from the UK, mainly as he lives in Spain where it’s a little bit sunnier. Jamie Oliver tells us more about himself, how he got into riding and what it’s like to be a Brit abroad. We have the Coming Up Special in this issue where we feature three guys who we predict will be big names next season. I won’t spoil it for you now, you’ll have to pick up a copy to find out who they are.

Then it’s off to Oxford and Wales for the 9th Wakestock festival, and boy did it go off. Tim Woodhead gives you his account of the riding, music, partying and general shenanigans that come from 2-weeks of Stock’n. In the middle of the two events, we took a bunch of UK riders, and our visiting guests from the US, France and Canada on a little road trip to welcome them to our country and show them the real UK scene. And finally, we catch up with Eban Escott to find out about the new project from FrontEdge, bringing a whole bunch of different artists together with wakeboarders to create their new film, Tea & Scones.

There’s all the normal stuff too with some beautiful photography, insights from Danny Hampson and Ben Hannam, and a report on the 2008 Student Nationals. Mr. Jamie Oliver made the cover with his take on a trusty favorite, the method grab. The issue is on it’s way to your local shop right now so give them a call and find out when it’s in.
